No sé si sois usuarios de Blip.fm (un servidor sí lo es). Y, si en caso de serlo, érais usuarios de Blip.up.
Blip.fm es un servidor para compartir música. Algo al estilo de Spotify, pero sin publicidad y con un reproductor web impresionante. Si no lo conocéis, os recomiendo simplemente que lo probéis y que veáis su potencia. Engancha en seguida, y su comunidad, si usas el mismo nombre de usuario, interactúa con la de twitter de forma estupenda.
Una vez que hayáis explorado las opciones de Blip.fm, os recomiendo que busquéis Blipster, un programa en Adobe Air (que funciona en todos los sistemas operativos) creado por Leo Lobato, un brasileño con mucha visión.
Uno de los problemas de Blip.fm es que la música la comparten los usuarios, y para compartirla, tienen que subirla a algún sitio. El servidor de uno es buena idea cuando las canciones no son muy conocidas y sabes que poca gente te escucha. Pero la herramienta de búsqueda funciona y te puede poner en un aprieto. Y también está la cuestión de que no todo el mundo tiene un servidor disponible al que poder subir cosas.
Sitios gratuitos en internet para subir información hay montones. Uno de los que suelo recomendar cuando me toca dar clases de WordPress es MP3 Upload (antes recomendaba su versión .net, pero hace poco me pasé a la canadiense). Pero el que se ganó el cariño de los usuarios de Blip.fm, sin duda, fue Blip.up.
En esencia, Blip.up es un servicio como Mp3Uploader, pero con tres grandes ventajas:
